Ethnic cleansing and terrorism – putting Tarek Fatah’s hate speech in context

with one comment

The British colonial enterprise categorized people according to ethnic groups and formed stereotypes about them more than 150 years ago. These Baloch terrorist groups still follow those sayings and believe very much in their applicability even today. Below is a map showing how the British viewed the primary ethnic groups of each of the four provinces of Pakistan, the idea was always which trick to use to keep the natives subordinate to the colonial enterprise. Today, these Baloch terrorists still believe that they are the only honorable people in this land and are therefore entitled to cleanse it of other ethnic groups. Racism is the largest part of the Baloch “independence” groups, which are in actuality, terrorist groups carrying out ethnic cleansing. Please keep reading ->

They still quote the racist stereotyping of colonists from more than 100 years ago.

3/7/2012 Colonel Ralph Peters of the US army, who drew a new map of the entire region broken up into new pieces [he is no friend of Pakistan] says this –

Peters calls the Baloch to clean their house of human rights violators because Baloch extremists represent a very serious threat to their cause: “I am very concerned with Baloch extremists. Killing teachers and doctors is just dumb. It might feel good as revenge but it is not going to win you friends in Washington. Assassinating these folks is just hurting their movement.”

In his view, such extremists represent more than just the inability of the Baloch leadership to control all factions under the umbrella of Baloch nationalism. They also illustrate one of the major problems undermining the insurgency at the operational level: “The Baloch need tactical purpose. You don’t just kill Punjabi teachers because you don’t want them teaching in your schools. You kill those committing the atrocities– the Pakistani agents and enforcers.”

Yes, Mr Peters…the following victims were all identified by Baloch terrorists as Pakistani agents and enforcers, even teachers, journalists, doctors, NGO workers, barbers, laborers, government workers, etc  Please continue to read this blog to find out what these “freedom fighters” are doing in the name of “independence”….its called ethnic cleansing and terrorism.

BBC correspondent in Quetta threatened by Baloch Liberation Front – Reporters Without Borders Alarmed

“Unless the authorities take firm action against those who attack the media, and deploy effective measures to ensure the safety of journalists, we fear there will be no significant progress in the coming weeks.”

Tareen told Reporters Without Borders yesterday he was forced to leave Quetta after the BLF accused him of partisan reporting on its political activities and threatened him.

Several Quetta-based news organizations received a statement from BLF spokesman Basham Baluch issued via the news agency Pakistan News Network International saying it was boycotting the BBC’s Urdu service because of the “partial attitude” of Tareen and adding: “We inform high-ups of BBC to take notice of their correspondent’s partial behavior.”

He went on: “Otherwise, we would be forced to take strict action.”

The Balochistan Union of Journalists also condemned the threats, describing attempts by the BLF to influence coverage of its activities as “extremely undemocratic, non-political and immoral”.

Tareen was the target of similar threats from the BLF last year, when he was also forced to leave Quetta temporarily.

Six journalists have been killed this year in Pakistan, which is ranked in 151st of 179 countries in the 2011-2012 World Press Freedom Index compiled by Reporters Without Borders.

On 28 May, Vsh TV reporter Abdul Qadir Hajizai died of his wounds after he was shot by two men on a motorcycle in Basima, in Washuk District. Balochistan was classified as one of the world’s 10 most dangerous places for journalists by Reporters Without Borders last year.

Mr Jamali belonged to Jaffarabad district and had worked at the school for several years.

Jeiand Baloch, a spokesman for the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army, claimed responsibility for the attack on behalf of his group.

He said that Mr Jamali “worked for state agencies” and for that reason he was eliminated.

8/9/2012 Baloch “independence group” kills other ethnic Baloch for not supporting their terrorism

15/2/2012 Baloch “independence group” kills 7 laborers in ethnic cleansing campaign

According to reports, the labourers, who belonged to Waziristan, were working for a private construction company building the Turbat-Buleda Road. They were in their camp in Masken, around 120kms north of Turbat, when eight armed men surrounded the camp, lined up seven labourers and sprayed them with bullets. All seven men were killed on the spot. The armed men separated two local labourers and allowed them to go.

Take a look the terrorists behind these crimes…except for “Dr” Allah Nazer, they mostly live in London, Switzerland and the United States. Does everybody keep forgetting the term, “BLOW BACK”?!! The Taliban were also once described by admiring Western politicians and senior armed forces personnel as “freedom fighters” only to call them terrorists 10 years later and to fight a USD 1 trillion War on Terror against them. Are the lessons of history not being learned, or are they purposely being forgotten?

Dr Allah Nazer BLF Chief with Baloch Militants

More of the same – this individual is Akbar Bugti; a tribal Chief of the “Bugti” tribe. A primitive tribe engaged in the most horrendous acts of savagery. Known to keep prisoners in dungeons and to hand out the most extreme forms of punishment to the people living under his tribal rule, this “Sardar” was killed by a military operation after he declared war on the government.

akbar-bugti savages

These two individuals are Brahamdagh Bugti, grand-son of the above savage, and Balach Marri, member of another similar primitive tribe. It is custom that the people of “noble birth” such as members of the tribal Chief’s family, sit on chairs while everyone else is required to sit on the ground. Nobody is allowed to walk away with their back towards them, they are the self proclaimed royal family of their people and are brutally subjugating them. They are a people entirely consumed with perception, ego, tribalism, ethnicity, and terrorism. Do not let the facade of civility fool you, simply google their history to learn more.

Brahamdagh Bugti Savage

This is the same person without this tribal adornments… prepared to fool a western audience into granting him asylum and supporting his campaign of ethnic cleansing

Brahamdagh Bugti - terrorist at large

Guilty of terrorism and ethnic cleansing

The same two individuals once again…different faces for different audiences. The wide posing and eye popping are part of their tribal psychology.

Bugti primitive savages

Below is Shahzain Bugti, first cousin of the above Brahamdagh Bugti. Their grand father expelled and exiled 700 people from their homes because they belonged to a sub-clan, some of whose members had a dispute with the Bugti Chief.

Primitive thinking on open display, clans and exiling still a factor in 2013

Primitive thinking on open display, clans and exiling still a factor in 2013

In reply to a question about the issue of ‘Kalpars’ (people of the Bugti sub-clan expelled from Dera Bugti), he accused the federal government of interfering in the affairs of the Bugti tribe.

“Are Islamabad and petty government servants our uncles to dictate against the decision of Bugti jirga,” Mr Shahzain said, adding that elders of the tribe representing 150,000 individuals had taken a decision to expel 700 Kalpars.

“The will of jirga and the majority has to be respected.”

These “Jirgas”, or a gathering of tribal elders, is actually just the tribal Chief and several yes-men who still dole out primitive punishments. In this case, one of the Bugti Chief’s family members, Shahzain Bugti, is offended that the outside world would take exception to expelling and exiling 700 people because of enmity between the Chief and some members of that clan. These are the same Jirgas that carry out honor killings, impose punishments that require families to surrender their daughters, lock people up in dungeons in the farm houses of Brahamdagh and Shahzain Bugti’s grandfather, “Nawab” Akbar Bugti.

But while ethnic cleansing takes place, carried out by Baloch terrorists and clearly observed by the world, some foreign media commentators are cheering it on and inciting hatred and terrorism against the local people being ethnically cleansed [i.e. Punjabis and Urdu speaking people in Balochistan]. Tarek Fatah is a Canadian media commentator and we have captured his hate speech, which in many cases is delivered to precisely the audience that is carrying out the ethnic cleansing. Please read more on this blog to see the most damning evidence against this hate monger.

Here he is fully endorsing the actions of the terrorists and suggesting that the government is an “Islamic army”. Pakistan is a democratic country with a parliament that has been voted in by the public. The parliament consists of an alliance of various secular political parties. Mr Fatah is fully aware of this so he is fully aware how grossly inaccurate his statement is. The fact is that he is supporting terrorism.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 9

Readers…does the above look like a “War of Independence” to you? Does the alleged crime of one person justify the murder and ethnic cleansing of tens of thousands?

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 11

This is nothing if not hate speech

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 15

You can see Mr Fatah is in direct communication with the terrorists sympathizers on the ground. In other posts on this blog we have shown these twitter associates of Mr Fatah announcing kills and bombings on civilians which they proudly claimed. We encourage you to read further

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 12

The Baloch leaders in question are not being accepted by the West because of the fact that they are guilty of terrorism. Yet, Mr Fatah is disappointed in their ability to sell themselves. You can tell however that he is completely involved.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 14

Repeatedly announcing that a country is dead while supporting ethnic cleansing and terrorism against a sovereign country is most likely a crime in Canada, and is most certainly a crime in Pakistan. Action must be taken in both jurisdictions.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 16

He is not only reciting the same partition plans of the terrorists, but he fully endorses them. He is further expressing his surprise that other ethnic groups are not trying to make ethnically pure states…this is in 2013 and from a media commentator in Canada!!  He refers to the “Freedom Charter” of a terrorist named Hyrbyar Marri who is wanted for numerous acts of terrorism in Pakistan.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 25

Remember the threats to journalists? Well, Mr Fatah would not be a certified violence inciter without ensuring that he hits all the notes…it makes our job of convicting him much easier. Incitement to murder, terrorism, ethnic cleansing and violence are all the more serious when they are actually happening as the incitement is taking place.

Overt support of Baloch terrorism 29.12.2012 - 1

Punjabis and Urdu speaking people [aka Muhajirs] are being targeted by the Baloch terrorists as you can see from all the information posted on this blog

Tarek Fatah ethnic hate mongering 1

Prior to 1971 Pakistan and Bangladesh were one country separated by more than 1000km of [hostile] Indian territory. There were tragically widespread massacres and ethnic cleansing campaigns before the the two split to form separate countries. Balochistan on the other hand is a contiguous part of the country and has been since its founding. All ethnic groups have been settled in all parts of the country for generations, and Mr Fatah is aware of that fact. He is also aware that these terrorists are killing teachers, laborers and others on the pretext that they are of a different ethnic group. Pakistan is a United Nations Member country and this media commentator is not only inciting violence against the state by referring to Balochistan as an “illegal occupation”…that is as absurd as saying that the US is illegally occupying New York or that Canada is illegally occupying Ontario and that some group should carry out violence against the government as a legitimate struggle for “freedom”. You can see above that this is anything but legitimate. That he refers to this issue as the “soft underbelly” reveals his intention to exploit this issue to advance his career…he feels there will be momentum. We say this with some authority due to the time we have spent studying this man and composing this blog entirely around him and the issues he has been inciting hatred over. A lot more is contained in numerous posts on this site.

Tarek Fatah support for terrorism

Typical dehumanization; it makes it easier to come to terms with the killings

Tarek Fatah ethnic hate mongering 2

Mohammad Ali Jinnah was the Founder of Pakistan. Kutchi, Gujrati, Sindhi are other ethnic-lingual groups. Mr Fatah’s liberal tolerance in full display here

Tarek Fatah ethnic hate mongering 3

One wonders what his obsession with ethnicity is. Does he not pretend to be an enlightened liberal?

Tarek Fatah ethnic hate mongering 4

Is is a fact that the Baloch terrorists refer to other ethnic groups with the same sort of slurs, i.e. products of rape of Hindu women by Arab invaders. Racial superiority is a major part of the terrorist movement, the terrorists consider themselves distinct and more honorable; and let us be clear, they do not even represent a fraction of the Baloch population in Pakistan.

Tarek Fatah ethnic hate mongering 5

Again, Urdu speaking people have been made targets of ethnic cleansing based on precisely these sorts of slogans.

Tarek Fatah ethnic hate mongering 6

The above tweets by this well known [in certain parts of Canada & Pakistan only] media commentator represent only a fraction of what we have collected on him. Below are far more damaging incidents of hate speech which we intend to respond to through legal means in Canada and in Pakistan. We encourage you to read further

After we put this site up, Mr Fatah noticed it and, of course, it must be an ISI conspiracy to defame “his efforts against jihadists”. Yes Mr Fatah, those dead teachers and civilians of various ethnic groups were a deadly force to be reckoned with and you dealt with them and now the ISI is out to get you…just like the 14 year old Somali girl who cursed you on Twitter and you tried to have her arrested as an Al Qaeda supporter. The police tried to reason with you but you lost your cool and started accusing them of complacency. Sometimes people are just people Mr Fatah, they are not evil institutions that are either out to destroy you and the western civilization, and neither should you be trying to destroy others. You are guilty of hate speech and inciting terrorism, plain and simple. And for your information, we are most definitely not with the ISI..you conspiracy nut..get some help!  We are ordinary citizens of mixed ethnic, religious and linguistic backgrounds and we are appalled by your hatred. We suffer from terrorism and violence while you spread hatred and cheer murder.

Tarek Fatah sees ISI everywhere. Conspiracy nut

As you can see from his next post after both sides had recognized each other, this man is totally unrepentant about his actions. A regular twitter follower of his with whom he has friendly interactions attempts to persuade him to soften his hateful comments, perhaps to a level more acceptable in a civilized society, and he ups the ante even further. This one is specially for those in Pakistan who consider him a friendly liberal

10/1/2013 – de-legitimization   and de-humanization are an important part of terrorist propaganda.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 1

10/1/2013 – Here Mr Fatah is calling for the dismemberment of the country along ethnic lines, something that is unthinkable for a multicultural society like Canada or the US. Another problem with his demands are that all provinces of Pakistan have had people of different ethnic, religious and language backgrounds for hundreds of years. Balochistan for example is almost 50% composed of Pashtuns, a different ethnic group. Yet another ethnic group that predates the “Baloch” in this same area are the “Brahui” or “Brohi”, who are distinct from the Baloch in ethnicity and language. “Hazaras” are another group that live in Balochistan and have been specifically targeted by extremists carrying out ethnic cleansing campaigns. Just 1 day after this rant, more than 100 people died in a series of terrorist bombings carried out against non-“Baloch” ethnic minorities and government personnel. The largest Pashtun city in the world is not in Pakhtunkhwa or in Afghanistan or in Balochistan, but in Karachi, Sindh. That city also happens to be the largest city for many other ethnic and religious groups including Ismailis, Boris, Baloch, Memons, Sindhis and many other groups. The same holds true for Punjab, the largest province of Pakistan. Mr Fatah is very aware of these realities and is making blatantly disingenuous statements of this sort because he is willfully inciting terrorism. As a matter of fact, the President of Pakistan as of this date is a Baloch by the name of Asif Ali Zardari, and he also happens to be a Shia. The Balochistan provincial government consists of political parties that were elected into parliament and it is Baloch dominated. Also at the moment, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is from Balochistan. To say that this group is being systematically discriminated against and the terrorist groups that Mr Fatah supports are therefore justified in their actions is criminal behavior, especially as it is done from a platform of Canadian, US and British mainstream media.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 2

10/1/2013 – As Mr Fatah communicates these falsehoods to Indians, tensions are escalating between Pakistan and India because of border skirmishes. Mr Fatah again directs hatred towards ethnic groups despite the fact that the President of the country is a Baloch and is by all accounts the most powerful man in Pakistan.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 5

10/1/2013 – You can see his campaign of hate is working. A Mr Richard Parker is talking about India carrying out a pre-emptive nuclear strike on Pakistan, while Mr Hazra is suggesting that foreign forces should accumulate to support Baloch terrorist groups, and Mr Bhatt is simply retweeting Mr Fatah’s hatefully titled article aimed at dehumanization and de-legitimization.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 6

10/1/2013 – Note here that Mr Fatah is making generalizations about 180 million Pakistanis hating Hindus to a group of over-enthusiastic Indians who’re looking for reasons to hate Pakistan to begin with. The term he used for Pakistan’s independence is “Manufacture”…it doesn’t get clearer than that.  The above violence against Punjabis and the implication that they are behind all the evils of Pakistan is a theme among Baloch terrorists and since Mr Fatah is in daily communication with them to share such views, he is fully aware of the impact of such incitement. Furthermore, Balochistan was not invaded and occupied by the Pakistan army…and Mr Fatah is aware of that fact also.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 7

10/1/2013 – More mature Indians see through the ridiculous incitement Mr Fatah offers as  way to gain followers. We appreciate Mr Naseer Ganai’s clear sightedness.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 8

10/1/2013 – It is hard for one to call a country a “demon” and then argue that you were not demonizing it.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 9

10/1/2013 – “Demon” is just one of the many derogatory words Mr Fatah has for Pakistan and Pakistanis of all stripes and colors. Mr Vinay Chawla seems to be a man of advanced age but yet enjoys the hatred as much as a teenage soccer hooligan. The fact that they acknowledge the word “hate” is important because they realize exactly what they are doing.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 10

10/1/2013 – Here a Dr Shazia Nawaz is asking Mr Fatah to soften his hatred towards Pakistan and Pakistanis. A translation of Mr Fatah’s response here is basically him saying that Pakistanis are themselves responsible for being the victims and he thus has no loyalty for the country. This is a theme of Mr Fatah’s: he perversely accused the victims of being the terrorists and thus liable for further terrorism.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 11

10/1/2012 – As bombs are going off and Pakistanis are dying in record numbers from such terrorist attacks, this Canadian media commentator is cheering and ridiculing the victims by saying they’re killing themselves. “Jinnah” refers to ‘Mohammad Ali Jinnah’ the Founder of the country and the implication here is that the country is illegitimate and all its people are orphans. He is also clearly saying throughout that the country does not have a right to exist and that the terrorists are fighting a “War of Independence”..that is blatant support for terrorism!

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 12

10/1/2012 – Later in the same day as more bombs go off throughout the country, this “liberal” is making jokes about the night being young and thus, he is looking forward to more casualties among “Jinnah’s Orphans”. Please notice that this constitutes dehumanization of people that are being murdered as he’s saying this, and lest you forget, much of the audience he intentionally developed through direct contacts are the Baloch terrorists carrying out this killing.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 4

10/1/2012 – The sheer inhumanity of suggesting that the victims are killing themselves is beyond unforgivable. He has been running his commentary throughout the day and while he and his followers rejoice in the murder of fellow human beings.

Tarek Fatah's hate speech against Pakistan 3

11/1/2013 – This is the incident that Mr Fatah is making jokes about and trying to score points over. More than 100 people died in a single day and the families were shocked with grief-

Hazara Killings in Quetta Jan 2013 - 1

12/1/2013 – The families of the victims refuse to bury their dead, more than 85 bodies are placed in the streets of the city of Quetta and bring the city to a standstill. The protestors demand that the provincial government of Balochistan, run by mostly Balochis, be stripped of power and the army take over the city to provide security to the citizens.

Hazara Killings in Quetta Jan 2013 - 2

Press Trust of India

ISLAMABAD, 12 JAN: Hundreds of minority Shia Hazaras continued their sit-in protest for a second day today in south-west Pakistan’s terror-hit Quetta, refusing to bury the over 80 victims of bomb attacks till the army takes control of the city to improve security.

What is the sentiment of the Baloch Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mr Aslam Raisani regarding the issue of ethnic cleansing of Hazaras from Balochistan? Here Mr Aslam Raisani is speaking of 40 shias killed in a similar incident in Mashtung, Balochistan

“Of the millions who live in Baluchistan, 40 dead in Mastung is not a big deal. I will send a truckload of tissue papers to the bereaved families,”

“The security situation in Baluchistan is satisfactory.”

Is Mr Aslam Raisani not an ethnic Baloch?

Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani (Urdu: نواب محمد اسلم خان رئیسانی‎) (born July 5, 1955 in Sarawan, Balochistan) is the current Chief Minister of Balochistan. He is also the chief of the Raisani tribe of the Sarawan area.[1] Being the eldest son of late Nawab Ghous Baksh Raisani, he took over as the chief of Raisani tribe. Raisani tribe is one of the most politically influential tribes in Baluchistan, the largest province of Pakistan by area.

Is the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, not an ethnic Baloch?

A Sindhi from a landowning tribe of Baloch origin, Zardari rose to prominence after his marriage to Bhutto in 1987. Between 1993 and 1996, he held various cabinet positions in the second Bhutto administration.

None of the above matters to people who are intentionally inciting terrorism. This one of Mr Fatah’s many rants against Shias that you will find on this blog. Baloch are a group he incites to violence. Anybody who will listen, anywhere there is division, Mr Fatah is there doing his incitement.

Shia-Sunni incitement 3 - tarek fatah

Shia-Sunni incitement 1 - tarek fatah

13/1/2013 – What is Mr Fatah’s response to a journalist who asks him what his views are on the killing of Shias in Quetta? He was “put off” by the reaction of the victims!! Nowhere did any of the victims’ families chant “death to America”, but since when did truth matter to this hate monger? You can see his incitement has the desired impact and his twitter associates are roundly condemning the victims for being anti-American- they are actually not..they are simply victims of terrorism.

Tarek Fatah on the killings of Hazaras in Quetta blast 1

This is one of Mr Fatah’s many Baloch terrorist associates on twitter. He is not only a propagandist for them, he is also their media adviser while also inciting hatred in Pakistan.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 12

11/1/2012 – These people are among the twitter follows of Mr Fatah and they also happen to be Baloch terrorist supporters. This individual named Khalid Al Raees seems to be based in Bahrain and is tweeting mostly in Balochi, but is saying that he is thrilled about the deaths of hundreds of shias in Balochistan. He is making comments which need no further explanation or repetition. We will be providing a more thorough translation in due course.

Baloch Terrorists against Shias 2

11/1/2013 – These terrorist sympathizers are both cheering the murder of Pakistan state forces but also the killings of Shias in record numbers. They are also professing their support for Sheikh Khalifa of Bahrain because of his crackdown on Shias. The background is that the Bahrain government imported many individuals from Balochistan to suppress the local Shia population and the Arab Spring in that country naturally brought retribution from that local population against the foreign forces oppressing them. This group tweeting below is making no distinction between Shias in Bahrain and Shias in Balochistan or Shias anywhere else for that matter.

Baloch Terrorists against Shias 6

More of the same high fiving

Baloch Terrorists against Shias 7

11/1/2013 – Here this same group of Baloch terrorist sympathizers is hypocritically stating their total opposition to the demands of Bahrains population for “freedom” while demanding the same for themselves through a campaign of hatred and ethnic cleansing

Baloch Terrorists against Shias 8

The terrorists reject the Baloch run provincial government, the reject the President who is also a Baloch, they reject the Supreme Court whose Chief is also from Balochistan and they launch terrorism against the state, minorities and anybody who doesn’t agree with them. They are based in Balochistan, Afghanistan, and parts of the Western world.

Baloch Terrorists based in Afghanistan 2

11/1/2013 – These Baloch terrorist sympathizers are announcing kills, blessing themselves for the murder of civilians and state forces and generally doing what terrorists do.

Baloch Terrorists cheering murders 1

11/1/2013 – This is a screenshot of a Baloch terrorist news outlet. They are cheering the fact that one of theirs threw a grenade into the office of the state election commissioner in Balochistan and killed an official who they suspected of being a spy. Thus, Mr Fatah’s accusations of media people being ISI agents brings very real threats with it. This also demonstrates the problem with the Baloch terrorists; they are already represented in parliament and in government at all levels, they are bombing state institutions that are intended for their representation and then they are claiming to the world that they are being discriminated against.

Baloch Terrorists cheering murders 2

11/1/2013 – Announcing kills and terrorism. You can recognize the photo of Brahamdagh Bugti in the background who is now in Switzerland and is trying to lobby the western world to allow terrorists like him to form an ethnically pure state.

As Pakistanis struggle to keep up with the sudden increase in bombings and killings, we are not even able to count our dead when another incident takes place. The absolute and utter devastation we all feel cannot be put into words…..it is heartbreaking to see our country and us as a people being dehumanized by so many people around the world, including our allies in the West. Why are all 180 million of us being punished and killed on a daily basis because of the actions of a few? Why are we ALL held accountable for belonging to one ethnic or religious or lingual group? And how does anything justify blowing us up and killing us in our streets, markets, in our places of worship, at our weddings, our funerals and our other gatherings?

Pakistanis die in record numbers while foreigners incite hatred 1

Why are people like Tarek Fatah being given such prominence to spew so much hatred against us while we suffer from one act of terrorism after another?! He calls it “WAR”….we ask him…if you are so concerned about this issue and think you have it right…come live here and experience it yourself rather than inciting people to kill Pakistanis from the comfort of your home in Canada!

29/12/2012 – As the brutal execution of 21 Pakistani security forces at the hands of the Taliban is announced, Mr Tarek Fatah is sneering at and ridiculing the event and Pakistanis. News breaks and nobody says a thing about anybody but the militants that Tarek Fatah actually supports, he puts words into our mouths about conspiracies and then he ridicules us as we are burying our dead and grieving the loss of our world. He is also referring to Government forces as “POW”s…which means he is clearly saying that he feels that this is a legitimate war against the Pakistani state. He doesn’t refer to the terrorists as “terrorists”…Pakistani army forces fighting militants are not POWs…they are hostages! Also, the newspaper article he links to makes no claims about anybody other than the Taliban having carried out the massacre. Mr Fatah has no shame. It does however fit into his wider narrative about Pakistan being a legitimate target, albeit his focus is mostly on Baloch militants.

21 PK soldiers killed Fatah calls them POW and ridicules 29.12.2012

Twenty-one kidnapped Levies killed by Pakistani Taliban

This is what the Taliban militants look like…the ones Mr Fatah says took Pakistani forces as “POW”s, or Prisoners of War….what war Mr Fatah? Are you saying that militants killing Pakistanis are fighting a legitimate war?!

Militants Tarek Fatah says are fighting legitimate war

Taliban release video of brutal killing of 27 Pakistani soldiers

Execution of Pk soldiers 1

Execution of Pk soldiers 2

29/12/2012 This is a particularly insidious tweet. Militants often accuse innocent people of being “ISI Agents” and justify their killing….Mr Fatah is very well aware of this fact. Akhtar Mengal is one of the icons of the militants killing Pakistanis. Within just the last few days there have been several terrorist bombings, massacres of shias and a massacre of state forces by Taliban militants. Pakistan and her civilians are under attack as Tarek Fatah incites hatred against its people. Here he is further arguing for de-legitimization of Pakistan. The ISI is the bogeyman of Baloch militants and Mr Fatah knows that, which is why is he trying to paint Pakistani media with the ISI label and to thereby refer to them as legitimate targets. He must be aware that Human Rights Watch has repeatedly condemned Tarek Fatah’s Baloch terrorist friends for killing teachers, barbers, laborers…AND JOURNALISTS! He is also certainly aware that Pakistan is one of the most dangerous countries in the world for journalists…..this is incitement to murder without a shadow of a doubt! Below his tweet is a picture of a teacher killed by Tarek Fatah’s Baloch terrorist friends. Why? Because they didn’t give coverage to his Huffington Post article? He is playing a very dangerous game!

Overt support of Baloch terrorism 29.12.2012 - 1

29/12/2012 To give you an idea of what else is happening on the ground in Pakistan as Mr Fatah cheers the terrorists on. You will notice in this screen shot that various militants are using twitter to communicate with one another to announce their successes in killing Pakistani security personnel and destroying public infrastructure. What is even more shocking is that these militant groups are openly able to announce VERIFIED TWITTER ACCOUNTS OF TERRORIST GROUPS.  These are the people that Mr Fatah is supporting…you can see the detailed reports about him below

BRA Cheering terrorism 1

28/12/2012 – More terrorist fist bumping as stories continue to emerge in national news that dozens are dying throughout Pakistan in massacres and bombings!

BRA Cheering terrorism 2

We did not examine American Jihad Watch further but noticed that they were on the page also. We are dismayed that they are referring to the group as an “ARMY” rather than a terrorist group. Civilians are being killed! Ethnic cleansing is taking place!

BRA Cheering terrorism 3

There are simply too many incidents taking place on a daily basis to be summarized here..you can view these two incidents, perform a google search on ‘Pakistan bomb December 2012’, or you can read the other posts below.

We implore the Government of Canada to take action against this terrorist sympathizer and media adviser. People are dying and this man has been given platform to dehumanize and create ethnic, religious and other divisions that he can then exploit to advance his own career. Please put a stop to @tarekfatah ! #tarekfatahbigot

@TarekFatah – Inciting hatred and terrorism from Canada #TarekFatahBigot

This man resides in Canada, enjoys great attention from the Canadian media, and yet is able to openly incite hatred leading to terrorism and murder in countries abroad. He regularly promotes hatred against various ethnic, racial, ideological and lingual groups. We have captured one month of twitter outbursts from this hate monger and displayed them for you along with the results of his incitement…for your review. Please take the time to look through this if you wish to preserve tolerance and intellectual honesty….just one month’s tweets are so damning in our opinion…we wonder what will be uncovered once we dug further into this man’s activities.

We ask you to be the judge. If you feel as we do that this man should not enjoy the protections of a multicultural country like Canada, please report him to the appropriate authorities and make your voice heard by responding on twitter at #TarekFatahBigot and by writing to his employers at the Toronto Sun, Huffington Post and wherever else he has managed to plant himself.

Tarek Fatah Photo

First, a quick look at one of his tweets about Pakistan being a legitimate target of armed Baloch militants….he is referring to a sovereign country, a member of the UN and an ally in the War on Terror (regardless of the ups and downs), as an occupying Islamic army. This may be well and good from a “Freedom of speech” point of view, but not when he is saying it directly to the militants who, you see in the next pictures, are actually announcing and cheering atrocities against helpless civilians in real time- this could only be coming from first hand knowledge since the media did not cover most of these stories until much later. In one of our other posts on this blog, we have shown that these militants openly discussed the murder of Pakistanis on twitter and announced official twitter addresses for their various terrorist leaders. This makes Mr Tarek Fatah the Canadian cell of that terrorist infrastructure!

Straight from the horse’s mouth @tarekfatah on 26/12/2012 and see the results in the next image taken on 29/12/2012 in which scores died –

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 9

Here is a gruesome result of the Baloch terrorism that Mr Fatah is cheering on. This women was killed because she was a Punjabi and there is currently a campaign of ethnic cleansing taking place in Balochistan…a campaign which, you will see in this document, Mr Fatah is fanning the flames for.

Here is a statement of condemnation from Human Rights Watch

Pakistan: Balochistan Militants Killing Teachers

“Militant groups’ grievances against the Pakistani state are no excuse for shooting teachers dead,” said Ali Dayan Hasan, senior South Asia researcher at Human Rights Watch. “By killing teachers, harming students, and targeting schools, militants only increase Balochistan’s problems and deprive its youth of the benefits of education.”

Education falls in the crosshairs of three distinct violent conflicts in Balochistan: militant Baloch nationalist groups seeking separation or autonomy for Balochistan target Punjabis and other minorities;……

This is a more detailed report from Human Rights Watch about Baloch terrorist groups killing carrying our a campaign of ethnic cleansing in addition to killing teachers, barbers, laborers, government servants, security personnel, law enforcement, etc. http://www.hrw.org/node/94653

Mr Fatah actually declares War on a sovereign country from the comfort of his living room in Canada on 26/12/2012. 3 days later, blasts rock Pakistan as Mr Fatah cheers on and incites hatred against its people.

baloch militants

14/5/2012 – Note Mr Fatah refers to the terrorists as an “independence group”. This is a group he claims to have been a member of, one that he supports, provides media support to in particular, and here he is tweeting their warnings as an endorsement of their policies. This is not paranoia that leads us to this conclusion, but the entirety of the evidence against him

This young man was abducted and killed by the BLF headed by London, UK based Herbyar Marri, for whom Mr Tarek Fatah sings praises and refers to as a Baloch Leader.

Some more information on Baloch Terrorism. We encourage you the reader to Google this information yourself and see the campaign of ethnic cleansing being carried out by Baloch terrorists. You can google ‘Killing Punjabis Balochistan’, ‘Baloch militant’, ‘Baloch terrorism’…we also encourage you to check out youtube videos of Baloch leaders living in Western countries openly saying they wish to expel other ethnic groups from Balochistan and are willing to terrorize to enforce it. When you combine this knowledge with what we show you below about Mr Fatah’s incitement of hatred, we feel you will have no choice but to agree with us that action must be taken against him for misusing the trust bestowed upon him by his adopted homeland, Canada.

Lets now take a look at who Mr Fatah is –

From 1996 until 2006 he hosted Muslim Chronicle, a weekly Toronto-based current affairs discussion show on CTS and VisionTV which focussed on the Muslim community.Fatah interviewed notables such as journalist Husain Haqqani, author Tariq Ali, and Mubin Shaikh.

Fatah has also written opinion pieces for various publications including TIME Magazine, the Toronto Star, the National Post and the Globe and Mail.

He has also been a guest host of TVO’s The Agenda filling in for Steve Paikin. In February 2007, Fatah was included by Maclean’s magazine on a list of 50 Canadians described as “Canada’s most well known and respected personalities.”.[8] In December 2008, Canada’s largest circulating newspaper, the Toronto Star, suggested to Prime Minister Stephen Harper that he appoint Fatah to one of the vacant seats in the Canadian Senate.[9] Toronto Star’s senior editor Bob Hepburn wrote this about Fatah: “A prominent spokesperson for secular and progressive Muslim issues who would bring a much-needed unique perspective to the Senate.”

From May to September 2009, Fatah co-hosted the “Strong Opinions Show” on Toronto’s CFRB 1010. After the show’s cancellation he joined CFRB’s Moore in the Morning program as a commentator.

Starting in September, 2010, Fatah joined Ryan Doyle as a co-host of “Friendly Fire,” the evening show on CFRB 1010. He currently hosts a Sunday afternoon show, The Tarek Fatah Show and appears as a commentator on other CFRB shows. He also writes a column for the Toronto Sun and appears on the Sun News Network as a frequent guest host and commentator.

At one point Mr Fatah was one of the many founding members of the Muslim Canadian Congress which he then had a bitter splt with. According to reports he gave to the media at the time, the split occurred when some members of the MCC’s former board marched in a Toronto anti-war rally where banners and photographs supporting Hezbollah‘s Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad were paraded. While the current members of the MCC wanted nothing to do with Hezbollah, it was claimed that other executive members participated or supported the demonstrations, and resigned and formed the new CMU the next day. This version of events is challenged in the resignation statement published by the exiting board members, which cited their belief that the Muslim Canadian Congress could no longer achieve its goal of influencing the Muslim community.[11] According to some who split with Fatah, he and other Board members had participated in several earlier demonstrations where the same banners were displayed by some members of the crowd, including two just weeks before the split. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarek_Fatah

He has come a long way since his days as a reporter for the Karachi Sun in the 1970s in Pakistan. He migrated to Canada roughly 25 years ago, after which he has become adept at exploiting fear and xenophobia to advance his career.

Mr Fatah joins Fox News and Neocons in hounding Hillary Clintons Chief of Staff for being born a Muslim

Tarek Fatah had the distinction of being one of the voices that joined Michelle Bachman in accusing Hillary Clinton Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin, of having “ties” with the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt. He writes in the Huffington Post which surprisingly allows such a person to use their platform – http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/tarek-fatah/bachman-muslim-brotherhood_b_1707362.html

The problem is that we now find out that Huma Abedin herself was, until late 2008, not only a member of her mother’s Islamist organization, the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA), she was an assistant editor.

Andrew McCarthy, who was the lead prosecutor at the 1995 terrorism trial of the Blind Sheik writes that past mastheads of the IMMA’s journal have Huma Abedin listed as an assistant editor (to her mother, the editor-in-chief) as far back as 1996, the year she began interning at the Clinton White House.

“The IMMA,” he writes “was started in Saudi Arabia in the 1970s by Huma Abedin’s parents, with the backing of Abdullah Omar Naseef … former secretary-general of the Muslim World League, which… has long been the Muslim Brotherhood’s principal vehicle for the international propagation of Islamic supremacist ideology. Under the auspices of the MWL, Naseef not only backed the IMMA, he founded the Rabita Trust, which … is a specially designated international terrorist organization under federal law.

The sooner Huma Abedin steps up to the plate and clears the air, the better it will be for all of us…..… All she needs to do is say she does not share the Islamist political ideology of her mother and that mother and daughter differ comprehensively in their views about the role of women in society. Once that is done, this father of two Muslim daughters will once again celebrate Huma Abedin as my own, as a shining example of what North America offers to its Muslim citizens, if they deserve it.

Here is how Mr Fatah deals with little girls whose Tweets he finds offensive!

Here Mr Fatah writes articles in newspapers about the threatening tweets he gets from teenage girls in Toronto while his incitement of hatred has very real consequences in places like Balochistan….and its not little girls using twitter that you need to be afraid of in Balochistan.

“Xaar boy means s— boy,” said Fatah, a moderate Muslim and author of The Jew is Not My Enemy. “I may be originally from Pakistan but I know Somali slang.” Note – he says that he is from Pakistan, a state whose legitimacy and existence he takes turns denying.

Now lets take a look at Mr Fatah’s own hateful tweeting.Keep in mind that this record is just for the month of December 2012…clearly this man has been doing this for a long time. We ask for your patience in reviewing this record and forming your own honest conclusions. In this record he has shown many of his colors; from racism against Arabs and Persians and Pakistanis (though he himself is a Pakistani)…Islamophobia and he even openly discussing incredibly self serving reasons for wanting to “Own” the Malala Yousufzai story.

29/12/2012 – We think this needs no explanation. Particularly in light of ethnic cleansing of Punjabis from Balochistan (for those who don’t know). This is classic dehumanization.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism

29/12/2012 – Here Mr Fatah doesn’t disappoint. He announces the death of Pakistan in one breath and advises his Balochi terrorist associates how to manage media relations by exploiting a teenage girl who is neither a Balochi, nor a Tarek Fatah supporter. He says Pakistan, a nation of 180 million, is doomed and dehumanizes its people.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 2

29/12/2012 – Here Mr Fatah advises Baloch militants, who are tweeting about their terrorist cause, how to manage their media campaign like an “AK 47”. He knows full well that the AK47 is the weapon of choice for terrorists in Pakistan and most deaths that don’t occur from explosives occur from AK47s. He is saying this even as news has broken that Baloch militants have exploded a bomb in a public bus killing scores….see above news . What is the “prize” he is referring to below? Since he announced a war of independence against the Government of Pakistan, the prize he is referring to is an independent Balochistan without all the Punjabis Mr Fatah and his associates despise…oddly, Mr Fatah himself is a Punjabi…at least according to him. This makes it clear he is totally involved in Baloch militancy, in supporting, promoting and justifying…who knows if there is funding and other activities involved…it went beyond our scope to investigate.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 3

29/12/2012 – Mr Fatah reveals his selfish motives for trying to “Own” the Malala Yousufzai story. For those who don’t know, she is a teenage girl from a totally different province of Pakistan who was attacked by the Taliban for her support for girl’s education. Mr Fatah, never one to miss an opportunity, is angling to get in on the action and suggesting a smart media strategy for his Baloch militant associates.  This is what is said publicly on twitter, one doesn’t need to wonder how bad his record is in private. This tweet also explains why Mr Fatah has Malala Yousufzai as his background image…what a shallow opportunist he is.

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 4

Tarik Fatah and Baloch Terrorism 2

29/12/2012 – You can see the image of one of Mr Fatah’s associates in this twitter rant. He is holding an AK47, the weapon Mr Fatah suggests they learn to use. He is proudly announcing casualties of Pakistani government personnel, proclaiming his terrorist cause, and acknowledging that his Balochi brethren have claimed responsibility for the Karachi terrorist bus bombing that day. They are all discussing casualties, intelligence, media strategy and dehumanization of the people of Pakistan. The difference is, that Mr Fatah is doing so from the comfort of Canada where he enjoys status and plenty of media coverage to air his hateful views.

Secular Liberal Extremists of Pakistan

leave a comment »

This is a very early draft document. We’re in the process of putting together a more comprehensive version of the same. If you have examples of secular liberals of Pakistan making hateful comments about Islam, Muslims, Arabs, etc, please share them with us to add to this collection. These will all be compiled into a write up on extremism among the secular liberals of Pakistan

Keeping an eye on all people who go into mosques is the type of oppressive move that Hosni Mubarak or the Uzbek leadership would enact. Khalid Munir is a well known liberal from Pakistan…this gives some idea as to what Pakistani liberals would do to religion and the rights of religious people if they had the chance.

Secular extremists 1

Some seriously flawed thinking on the part of Beena Sarwar, another renowned Pakistani liberal. General Zia-ul-Haq was the military dictator of Pakistan during the 1980s and he is often accused of Islamizing Pakistan, something the liberals hate. What is flawed about Ms Sarwar’s thinking is that a military dictator who died over two decades ago is not responsible for the ordinary public using the term “Allah Haafiz” rather than “Khuda Haafiz”. The fact is that many millions, possibly tens of millions, of Pakistanis have worked in the Gulf countries and have, on their own, decided that the term “Allah” is more appropriate the the word “Khuda”..since Khuda is not used in the Quran while Allah is. This is a decision by individuals, not a state enforced requirement that people should use Allah instead of Khuda. However, every year the same liberals fume with anger that the Pakistani public has changed in ways that they dont like. The source of Islam is Makkah, a city in Saudi Arabia…the Prophet (SAW) was an Arab, the Quran is written in Arabic…therefore, naturally if people are attempting to be closer to their religion and understand it better, they will come closer to Arabic..since that is the language of the religion. However, the liberals of Pakistan are against the idea of the public making such decisions, even on an individual basis. Pakistan being 98% Muslim and major (by far) Sunni, naturally a conservative religious public will mean the country will become more Islamic, which will also mean that the Sunni majority’s identity will be more noticeable than that of the minority…simply because they are the majority. Again, the comments of Pakistani liberals reveal the depth of hatred they have for the public’s freely made decision, and they instead subscribe to conspiracy theories about dictators who died 20+ yeas ago being responsible for this…thereby seeking to discredit a genuine public movement. Relgious fatwa is another word for  religious ruling….or religious opinion. Any Muslim who needs clarification on religious issues will request a fatwa from someone who is educated in the subject and is qualified to provide such an opinion. Please note, these liberals are not saying that the state should outlaw extremist fatwas, but they are saying that ALL fatwas should be outlawed. They are also not saying that extremist madrassas (religious schools) should be shut down, they are saying that ALL religious schools should be shut down. They are equating TTP, a terrorist group, with legitimate religion…a cheap trick to paint all religion and religious people with the same brush.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 22 Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 21 Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 20

Please note below that there is no mention of which Saudi clerics were banned from entry into India and neither are the tweeters below being specific about which clerics they feel should be banned. They are infact saying that ALL clerics from Saudi Arabia should be banned and they are calling them “fasadis”, which means “instigators”. Such is the language of hatred. Furthermore, please note that the below comments also take objection to Pakistan seeking to protect its own religious/cultural values through a “Respect Ramadhan” law which prevents people from eating and drinking in public during the month of fasting. It is fine to disagree, but one must do so in a respectful and civilized manner that is conducive to discourse…however, the comments refuse to acknowledge that the Pakistani public itself has any say in these laws..instead, they go the route of conspiracy theory to blame “damned intolerant Arab rules tiptoeing into our culture”..thereby seeking to de-legitimize the genuine public sentiments of Pakistanis. Hypocrisy at its worse because the below comments wreak of intolerance, while sanctimoniously harping about the intolerance of others.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 19 Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 18

This comment is particularly odd because a genuine secular state is tasked with the material well being of its public, not morality. However, that doesn’t stop Pakistani liberals from making such misguided statements.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 17

If the intolerance of these secularists is anything to go by, it doesn’t seem that a secular Pakistan would be anymore tolerant than an Islamic Pakistan. It is people, not their ideology, that are mostly responsible for intolerance. If someone wishes to suppress those whom he/she disagrees with, they will find excuses, whether religious or secular.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 16

This is just absurd….secularism cannot be closer to religion, particularly since secularism seeks to remove religion from the public sphere. The level of confusion among Pakistani liberals is astounding. The Quran is quite explicit that those who do not judge according to the book, and live their lives according to the book, are not entitled to call themselves Muslim. This secular liberal is attempting to make the case that secularism is somehow religiosity.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 15

This is a clear manifestation of the confusion of secular liberals of Pakistan. Just because someone has been married three times and smokes, doesn’t make them a liberal. Such personal trivial matters should not even come into play. The western idea of liberalism is more about ideology rather than trivial matters such as smoking or divorce.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 14

Typical secular liberal comment, that the alternative to secularism is moving back into some sort of dark age. The problem with such an approach is that is seeks to discredit the alternative view point entirely as a non-starter. It gives no respect to the diversity of opinions, which is exactly what a liberal is supposed to stand for. Disrespecting other viewpoints is exactly the complaint liberals have against religion, while they themselves are guilty of the same.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 13

Again, a typical self-righteous liberal argument that secularism is somehow enlightened while the alternative is darkness. It is a lack of respect for the other viewpoints.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 12

Here, the Chairman of Pakistan’s largest liberal party, the PPP, is clearly saying that secularism is not possible in Pakistan, it is not democratically feasible…in other words, the majority of the public does not want secularism and wants an Islamic state. This is a major admission by the only national party in Pakistan that qualifies as “liberal” to some extent. In fact, he admits that the treaty of Madina would make society more egalitarian, more so than any secular laws….the treaty of Madina being part of Islamic law.

Bilawal Zardari doesnt favor secularism

While many of the liberals take exception to the individual choices of people, such as calling it Ramadhan rather than Ramzan, and Allah Haafiz rather than Khuda Hafiz…and they would also seek to ban religious schools, hound people who go to mosques, ban religious fatwas (religious opinions)…they are so self-righteous that they don’t realize that “does parliament has the legal and moral right to legislate on matters of personal faith” …these liberals seek to do the exact same thing to suppress religion, matters of personal faith, even pronunciation, education..and who knows what else if they ever had the power to do so. Most likely they would seek to ban hijab and beards…or at the very least, prevent people who have such religious displays from advancement in society, lest they become a threat to their secular order…just as in other oppressive secular countries like Uzbekistan.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 10

This comment doesn’t really require much elaboration…it is hateful to the core.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 9

Again, another secular liberal seeking to ban political parties that represent people who espouse a role for religion in politics. Of course, shutting down religious education is a staple comment for the liberals of Pakistan. How strange that they don’t see their own blatant intolerance!

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 8

Here, well known Pakistani liberal, Asad Munir, is equating mainstream political parties such as Imran Khan’s PTI and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s PMLN with terrorist organizations such as LET and LeJ simply because they all believe in the Islamic state. The Pakistani liberal sees all religious people and parties as terrorists.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 7

Since Muslims are required to pray 5 times a day, on specific times, when someone is busy with work or doing all day events, it is bound to happen that they will need to excuse themselves in order to pray. The Pakistani liberal considers that a crass display of religion rather than a matter of individual rights and freedoms. One need not wonder what kind of legislation the Pakistani liberal would enact if he/she had the power…it would be oppressive in the extreme.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 6

These two gentlemen, Najam Sethi and Mosharraf Zaidi, are well known secular liberals of Pakistan. However, the Pakistani liberal does not tolerate the secular liberal who is not secular liberal enough. Here, a well known liberal blog, LUBP, is labeling these two iconic secular liberals as secular sectarians.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 5

This comment doesnt need much elaboration. It could easily have come from renowned Islamophobes such as Daniel Pipes or Pamela Geller.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 4

Renowned Pakistan liberal, Raza Rumi, sees nothing wrong in perpetuating the stereotype of Arabs with big noses and bad teeth. Disrespecting the views of others who choose the proper pronunciation, Ramadhan, as parrots or puppets of Arabs…they turn even trivial matters of personal choice into campaigns of hate. #BringbackRamzan hashtag is odd because one has to wonder, just how do they intend to “bring it back”? Will they legislate this? Or will they continue their campaign of hate? Just how does one bring something like this back when millions of individuals had made this choice on their own?

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 3

Again, renowned Pakistani liberal has been spending a great deal of time worrying about how to reverse individual decisions to refer to the month of fasting as Ramadhan rather than Ramzan. It is ridiculous in the extreme to spend so much time on this subject and to spread so much anger over it. They throw out conspiracy theories about the late dictator being responsible for this and equate it with Saudization…a cheap way to discredit genuine public opinion.

Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 2 Fanatic Pakistani Liberals 1

Clearly, in Pakistan, the term “liberal” or “secular” does not mean the same thing it does elsewhere. In Pakistan, secular liberal means anti-religion, against religious people…it means being hateful of opposing views, of seeking to suppress the majority who do want an Islamic state, as admitted by the leader (Bilwal Bhutto Zardari) of the largest and only national liberal party. They will claim to respect and demand democracy, but when democracy brings something they disagree with, they will aim to discredit it, disrespect it, and to somehow de-legitimize it.

Gul Bukhari – A Foul Mouthed & Hateful Columnist

with 2 comments

Gul Bukhari is a Pakistani columnist whose focus is on womens’ rights and secularism. The reason she is on this website is because of her tendency to dehumanize those with whom she disagrees, the disrespect she heaps onto the beliefs of others and the foul manner in which she  engages. Please read a sampling of her tweets and judge for yourself….also, please feel free to leave your comments, they will not be censored, except if you’ve used the type of vulgarity Ms Bukhari has a penchant for. Though Ms Bukhari calls herself a liberal, liberals in the west we know would cringe at the thought of being placed in the same category as someone with such reprehensible behavior. This is not liberalism and she is no liberal!

Gul Bukhari 0

On 17th June 2014, Canada based anti-Taliban cleric’s offices in Lahore were attacked by the Punjab Police in the middle of the night. They had allegedly come to remove barriers that had been present for years without issue, but this time, they killed 11 peaceful protestors in an incident that has widely been condemned by all sections of Pakistani society. In fact, even the Punjab government itself acknowledged that a grave injustice had been done resulting in the resignation of Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah. To put things in perspective, we have added a few photos showing the loss of innocent lives following which we have provided a sampling of Ms Bukhari’s humor relating to this incident. We should make clear that we are not supporters of this organization and have no affiliation with any political or religious group. We are simply outraged at the insensitivity of those whom our respectable media outlets provide a platform to voice their bigoted & hateful opinions.

The above is a small sampling of the vicious attack by Punjab police on a group of peaceful protestors to give you some perspective. Now, on to Ms Bukhari

Here, Ms Bukhari is retweeting someone with whom she regularly interacts on Twitter. Apparently both of them agree and find funny the idea of running people over on the street, presumably because they disagree with them.

Gul Bukhari 8While the incident has been playing out on the television screens of Pakistanis for hours and protesters are being murdered in plain view, Ms Bukhari is calling them gangsters and ridiculing political parties who were appealing for calm and stating that these women were the children of the country….Ms Bukhari is saying, “dont call them the children of our nation”. In the next tweet she is opening up a little and letting it be known that her gripe with these people is that they are a religious group, albeit one that is known to be peaceful…but she sees nothing wrong with calling them, “Islamist types”, thereby stereotyping and dehumanizing them. Since when is it unlawful to protest? Do people with whom Ms Bukhari disagrees not have the same democratic rights that she espouses for her liberal colleagues? In her third tweet, she further dehumanizes these women and states that they’re holding sticks (while police are using automatic weapons with live ammunition)…and she is comparing them to the infamous “Laal Masjid incident” which was actually a group of radicals that confronted the law enforcement agencies…however, this case was nothing like Laal Masjid and nobody except Ms Bukhari thought it was, including the government, media, civil society and opposition parties.

Gul Bukhari 6

There was no militia, arms cash or groups of people taking oaths based on secret plans…however, that didn’t stop Ms Bukhari from spreading vicious rumors while women, children and old men were being gunned down on our television screens.

Gul Bukhari 7

Here she is again, the very next day stereotyping people who are religious by stating that all “mullahs” (a term used as a pejorative to paint all religious people with one brush) are “agents” of intelligence agencies. Absurd to make such sweeping statements, but as you will see, that is a staple in Ms Bukhari’s senseless hyperbole.

Gul Bukhari 9

Again, someone with whom Ms Bukhari regularly interacts on twitter. She retweets this person often. Here, this individual is asking, “what is the score? how many have gone to meet the “hoors”? They are referring to the number of dead protestors as a “score”…dehumanization at its worst. “hoor” is a completely heartless reference to virgins in heaven….forgetting for a moment that several of the dead were women..making such crass jokes about innocent human lives is abhorrent. However, as you will continue to see, Ms Bukhari has no respect of value for the lives of people with whom she disagrees, particularly if they hold religious beliefs.

Gul Bukhari 10

Again, Ms Bukhari makes crass jokes about innocent lives being snuffed out by state sponsored violence. While referring to an incident in China where Chinese police killed 13 attackers, Ms Bukhari is joking that they scored 2 more (“better” is the word she chooses to use) than the Punjab police.

Gul Bukhari 11

Here Ms Bukhari really outdoes herself. Madrassa refers to religious schools. Tabligh is a non-political organization dedicated to peaceful means of spreading their message and has never been accused of being involved in any terrorism or violence. Punjab is the largest province of Pakistan where over 60% of the population of the country resides. Balach Marri who has been included in this tweet is a militant from the province of Balochistan where separatists are carrying out ethnic cleansing, particularly of Punjabis. Here Ms Bukhari is retweeting Aimal Pukhton, an individual with whom she regularly interacts over Balochistant militant causes which she wholeheartedly supports. Apparently she agrees with making derogatory comments about religious people and entire ethnic groups….and that too, with an audience that actually follows through on such comments by killing such religious people and those ethnic groups. Please see our posts on Baloch militancy to understand a little more on this subject and to gain some perspective.

Gul Bukhari 4FATA is a part of Pakistan which is majority Pakhtun, a large ethnic group, whose society is relatively tribal compared to the urban centers of Pakistan. FATAfication is actually used as a derogatory term to suggest that these people are backward and regressive and their traits are spreading to other parts of Pakistan. Apparently Ms Bukhari is not averse to dehumanizing and ridiculing people of all beliefs and ethnic groups, as long as they’re ones she disagrees with.

Gul Bukhari 1Both terms, “Pakis” and “Mullas” are pejoratives and are used to ridicule people and dehumanize them. It is well known that Pakistan is a somewhat conservative and religious society in which religious leaders have a great deal of influence. So, if the religious leaders come out against “honor killings”, she abuses all Pakistanis for not understanding until their religious leaders tell them. And if the religious leaders don’t come out against honor killings, she will accuse them of being complacent. To be a liberal does not mean one is anti-religion and so intolerant of others…quite to the contrary, liberalism is all about tolerance and accepting others as they are and to live and let live.

Gul Bukhari 13

In a conservative and religious society like Pakistan, such subjects have to be handled with care and understanding. Ms Bukhari is not only a highly bigoted individual, but a vulgar one too. Does she honestly think using such foul language will convince those with whom she disagrees? Certainly not, and that is not even her intention…she is merely being vulgar for the sake of being vulgar. Any pretense that she is promoting liberal causes is simply a ruse to gain popularity and advance a career while her tweets reveal her true personality. Perhaps she imagines herself as the Howard Stern of the Pakistani twitter-sphere.

Gul Bukhari 12

This time she is attacking not just religion, but Pakistan as a whole by suggesting it is Pakistani culture to beat one’s wife. Again, stereotyping….her rants are the very definition of hate speech. Gul Bukhari 18

Another twitterati with whom Ms Bukhari regularly interacts. This virtual high-five over a rather despicable comment about religion or religious people would be expected by the likes of Pamella Geller or other renowned Islamophobes, but not someone who refers to themselves as a Pakistani liberal….but we know thats not what she is.Gul Bukhari 17

This message was one that Ms Bukhari agreed with so much that first she retweeted it but then she tweeted it herself. She gives away her thinking here which is that she is actually a “Takfiri Secular”…someone who has their anti-religious beliefs and is willing to destroy anyone who doesn’t share the same values, or lack thereof. Ms Bukhari is certainly no secular liberal…she is a deeply confused/disturbed and hateful individual…she fits right into the Takfiri crowd.

Gul Bukhari 15

By now its become quite obvious that Ms Bukhari has no respect for people who hold religious beliefs. Here is a photo that has been cut off unfortunately, but showed an optical illusion that looked like an angel sitting on top of the Holy Kaaba. Much like those people who see Jesus in trees and fruits….live and let live…be tolerant. However, Ms Bukhari doesn’t seem to agree and retweets someone who refers to people who believe such things as stupid while she responds with a WTF is that? Muslims deeply revere the Holy Kaaba and in a conservative/religious society like Pakistan, one is expected to have more respect than that! However, as a Takfiri Secular Liberal…she is expected to be belligerent and hateful, a role she plays quite well. Gul Bukhari 16

During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims fast from dawn till dusk and abstain from food, drink and intimate relations. A key part of the Muslim belief is that these rules have been made by Almighty Allah (God) and that human beings do not have the right to change them. However, the Takfiri Secular Liberal in militant Ms Bukhari enjoys the instigation and antagonistic approach that comes with being such a hateful person. She suggests that these rules should be changed and that drinking water should be permitted. It may seem like a trivial matter to outsiders, but such cultural and religious sensitivity is something all who are born and live in the Muslim world have a full awareness of and Ms Bukhari purposely flaunts her disdain for those sensitivities to presumably enhance her credentials as a secular liberal. Live and let live is a lesson she apparently missed altogether. Somehow this brand of secular liberal (the Takfiri kind), is based not on the same values as are understood in the west, but a peculiar brand which is not as much pro-freedom and equality as it is anti-religion. Dehumanizing, calling for murder, antagonizing religious people…its all part of her confused secular liberal package.

Gul Bukhari 5

We threw this one in just to add a little more to the picture. Generally mean comments are second nature to this individual.

Gul Bukhari 20

More generally mean spirited comments…this time referring to Pakistan as a Banana Republic.

Gul Bukhari 21

When Pakistanis are celebrating the day they became a nuclear power, Ms Bukhari is, of course, being a negative nelly….what else would she be doing? And naturally, she wholeheartedly agrees with her regular friend, Kahar Zalmay, that only abnormal people would celebrate that day….therefore, most Pakistanis must be abnormal since most Pakistanis take great pride in being a nuclear power.

Gul Bukhari 19

Sure Ms Bukhari…just because he is a rickshaw driver, he must be illiterate right and wouldn’t even have the sense to know what he’s placed on his rickshaw right?

Gul Bukhari 2

These last two tweets are for her fellow PPP supporters in case you missed them. While Aseefa Zardari (still a child), just graduated from university that day was tweeting how much she missed her late mother, Benazir Bhutto, and also wishing her happy birthday….Ms Bukhari was commenting that she doesnt see the logic in wishing a dead person Happy Birthday.

Gul Bukhari 22 - Bibi 1Gul Bukhari 22 - Bibi 2

We think the above is a representative sample of Ms Bukhari’s personality which we feel is hateful, bigoted and quite illiberal. That she is allowed a platform on media outlets such as Dawn and The News is quite mystifying but we encourage you to share the above with them and let them know that you object to allowing her any space in any respectable media outlet. People who practice hate speech while championing liberal causes and themselves claiming to fight against hate speech are the worst kind of hypocrites…but Ms Bukhari is a special brand of secular liberal takfiri…in her owns words. We encourage you to comment, we will not censor you except if you use the same sort of hate and vulgarity as Ms Bukhari. If you have any more material relating to Ms Bukhari which you think should be placed here, please share it with us and we will add it to the above collection.

Taha Siddiqui – unprofessional, inappropriate & biased journalist

with one comment

Taha Siddiqui is a Pakistan based journalist who works for a range of media outlets abroad and Dawn/Express Groups within Pakistan. In the course of observing his tweets, we have found that he is more than happy to crack highly insensitive jokes about terrorism in Pakistan, accuse fellow journalists of being ISI agents (or at least close to them), insinuate that people who go for Tableegh (a non-political religious group) tend to marry teenagers and/or are involved in terrorism….in short, he is guilty of all the same behavior that he accuses people on the opposite end of the spectrum, i.e. calling journos foreign paid agents with hidden agendas. It does not behoove respected media outlets like The Christian Monitor, France 24, Huffington Post or any other professional media group to allow such individuals a voice on their platform. A journalist should be unbiased and should not throw around accusations without proof but as we have seen on many occasions, an open platform like Twitter brings out the nastiness that one would usually reserve for more private settings. Please read and judge for yourself….we did not collect all his tweets, just a sampling of roughly 18. We would also ask the New York Times, CS Monitor, France 24, Arte France, Express Media and Dawn if these are the types of messages they would like to send the 200 million people of Pakistan.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 18

Below Taha Siddiqui is making jokes about using Uzbeks to get past Airport Security. He is referencing a recent terrorist attack in which more than 20 people were killed and he finds nothing wrong in doing that.

Making jokes about recent terror attacks

Making jokes about recent terror attacks

Taha, although himself a Pakistani, uses terms like “Paki” which are considered derogatory. Though it is hard to understand what Taha was thinking when he posted this, it is offensive and totally inappropriate. To imply that “Pakis” worked as slaves to Saudis and that Pakistanis feel that Arabs are better than them….do we need to explain why such jokes by a journo are totally wrong?!

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 17

Here Taha Siddiqui is accusing a fellow journalist of being close to the Pakistani intelligence, ISI, an exclusively using the ISI as his sources. Such accusations are a mirror image of the type of accusations faced by Taha himself who is accused by many in Pakistan of being on the payroll of foreign agencies who have given him a mandate to defame Pakistan. Strange that he doesnt realize that he is guilty of the same sort of mudslinging.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 15

Same as above, Taha is accusing a fellow journalist of being in bed with the “deep state”, a reference to the ISI, simply because that journalist retweeted someone. When the shoe is on the other foot, Taha will protest.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 16

Express News has a known rivalry with Geo News and it showed in its broadcasting. This is a long standing business rivalry, but Taha once again sees the hand of the “deep state”…naturally he has no proof…just baseless allegations against the owners of Express Media Group

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 19

Invisible Hands is Taha accusing fellow journalist, Mubashir Lucman of being a stooge of the ISI, Pakistan’s intelligence agency. He makes the same accusation against mainstream politician, Imran Khan, leader of PTI. Once again, no proof.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 20

RAW is India’s intelligence agency while the Mossad is Israel’s. Here Taha is complaining about people throwing around accusations of journos being agents of RAW & Mossad. Hypocrisy, thy name is Taha!

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 21

Apparently Taha finds it funny when people who vote for a mainstream political party such as PTI are called “stupid” and somehow regressive to the point that they will go back to the age of travel by camel.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 23

Tableegh is a non-political organization that promotes religious tolerance and peacefully spreading the message. Nowhere either in Pakistan or abroad has Tableegh ever been accused of extremism or terrorism. However, Taha Siddiqui sees nothing wrong in making crass jokes suggesting that people involved in Tableegh are involved in terrorism..he is essentially ridiculing the beliefs of people who follow Tableegh.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 13

Yet another joke from Taha wherein he dehumanizes young children who attend religious schools…this one is particularly reprehensible

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 24

Yes, this is an retweet, but it does reflect his thinking…no respect for other peoples’ beliefs

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 25

Here he is thrilled at the fact that a fellow journalist (with whom he disagrees) had his account hacked and the hacker has been posting messages using the account that ridicule the actual owner.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 12Tableegh is a non-political organization that promotes religious tolerance and peacefully spreading the message. Nowhere either in Pakistan or abroad has Tableegh ever been accused of extremism or terrorism. However, Taha Siddiqui sees nothing wrong in making crass jokes suggesting that people involved in Tableegh marry teenage girls. The story about a famous cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar, marrying a 17 year old girl was false, but it didnt stop Taha Siddiqui from making jokes not just about him marrying a teenage girl but also his religious beliefs.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 11Taha Siddiqui has demonstrated a tendency to disrespect the beliefs of others using innuendo. Here he is suggesting that the majority of Pakistanis (who are Sunni) are extremists and intolerant…ironic because Taha himself is quite intolerant but doesn’t realize his hypocrisy.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 14

This so-called journalist is making jokes about a terrorist attack at Karachi Intl Airport in which over 20 people died

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 10

Just a generic comment reflecting Taha Siddiquis negative mindset where everything Pakistani is somehow chaotic and inferior. Over 20 people died in a terrorist attack at the Karachi Airport (lasting several hours) and 8 were stuck in a cold storage and later died, but Taha Siddiqi felt this should not be given coverage.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 9

So far Pakistan has lost more than 20,000 armed forces personnel to terrorists and is currently at war with them. However, this journalist who several foreign media outlets have thought meets their standards is telling the public to stop glorifying the sacrifice of over 20,000 lives and instead on focus on criticizing them. Sensible people can understand that it is right to support the troops while also questioning those policies which are counterproductive. However, that is not Taha Siddiqui’s approach. Perhaps he feels that such a negative attitude towards his own country and its security forces will ingratiate him with his foreign media bosses? We here at K4Catalyst feel that sensible folks in media will reprimand such negativity and antagonism.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 8

Here Taha Siddiqui says that the Pakistan army always lies…ISPR is the PR wing of the Pakistan army. No respectable journalist would make such blanket comments, but Taha Siddiqui uses every opportunity to sling mud at those with whom he disagrees.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 7

Here Taha Siddiqui pays a compliment to another journalist, Saleem Safi, but refers to him as a hypernationalist for pointing out the importance of the Kashmir issue which is an issue even recognized by the United Nations. For those who dont know, Kashmir is a disputed territory where Indian forces have allegedly used kidnapping, torture, rape, murder and other methods to silence and suppress the indigenous population which has been demanding a referendum to determine their future. Ironically, Taha Siddiqui supports the Baloch militants on the same basis and sees nothing wrong with that.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 6While all over the world it is normal for people to support their troops during a time of war, Taha Siddiqui feels sickens by it and makes repeated points to the same affect.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 5

A typically sarcastic anti-army rant by this “journalist”, who happens to be working for several western media outlets.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 4Here Taha Siddiqui is making jokes about the army operation that much of Pakistan and indeed most of the world has been waiting for. North Waziristan area is widely reported by western intelligence sources and governments as being one of the major bases of terrorism not just in Pakistan, but across the world. More than 50,000 Pakistanis have been killed in these 10 years of terrorism while Taha Siddiqui feels it is appropriate to make fun of the armed forces fighting this scourge.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 2Here Taha Siddiqui is making false claims about the coastal area being sold by the military. According to Pakistani law, all land in the province of Sindh is owned by the provincial government of Sindh. Therefore, the only department/agency authorized to sell land, and indeed the only agency that owns the coastal areas is the provincial government of Sindh. As you will see further in this post, Taha Siddiqui has made it a point to dish out unproven accusations against the Pakistan army. Here he is accusing the Pakistan army of selling land and therefore being responsible for the plight of coastal communities devastating by flooding which followed a recent cyclone.

Taha Siddiqui's insensitive humor 3

If you have other examples of Taha Siddiquis offensive, inappropriate & unprofessional behavior, please send it to us to add to this collection.

Tarek Fatah’s blatant lies

leave a comment »

One of Mr Fatah’s favorite tricks is to accuse Muslims of accusing Jews, Hindus and Americans and then to play the best friend of the latter and the enemy of the former. It is part of a strategy of exploiting fear and hate that he has perfected. Below in this tweet he is suggesting that a Pakistani media outlet is accusing Jews, Americans and Hindus for the 2,000 deaths in Karachi. Please see the article first, the link is provided below for your reference

Tarek Fatah blatantly lies 1

The article in no way even comes close to mentioning Hindus, Jews or Americans, let alone accuse them of these crimes. There is absolutely no mention of any of these groups! Secondly, the citizens of Karachi are of mixed ethnic, religious and lingual groups. That includes Christians, Hindus, Zorastrians and many other groups. Exploitation of fear and hate…remember what we’ve said here…it will be his theme every time you come across him. We have his record for several months, we will be compiling a list of his blatant and outright lies right here for you to see after the 15th of January 2013.

Tarek Fatah’s response to this website

with one comment

In his mind intelligence agencies are conspiring against him. Sorry to disappoint you Tarek, we’re just ordinary people who’re appalled by you. What is telling is how remorseless he is when presented with a collection of what is obviously hateful thinking. Instead of acknowledging that he should not be speaking in such a vile manner while being a media personality, he ridicules those who point how out wrong his actions are.

8th January 2013

Tarek Fatah sees ISI everywhere. Conspiracy nut

Our Message to Tarek Fatah:

Good Luck traveling to any country in the Middle East or to Pakistan again. We have sent this information to the authorities in all of the relevant countries and don’t expect them to welcome your hate mongering person to travel through their airports or on to step on to their soil.

We will also be pursuing you in Canada and in Pakistan through legal channels. Incitement to murder will not go unpunished or unanswered.
